How MAGMA Got Started
MAGMA was founded in Beirut in 2000 around a specific technical conviction — that MEP systems are the operational core of any building, and that failures at this level are almost always the most expensive and disruptive to fix. Most contractors treat mechanical, electrical, and plumbing as downstream work. MAGMA was built on the opposite assumption: get those systems right from the start, and the rest of the project runs cleaner.
That engineering-first approach shaped everything. Early technical involvement, tight coordination across disciplines, and strict control over system integration from the earliest project stages — not as an add-on, but as the method. It's why MAGMA gravitated toward healthcare and hospitality projects, two sectors where system reliability isn't a preference but a requirement, and where the margin for execution error is close to zero.
Over 25 years, that foundation allowed MAGMA to grow into a full-service general contracting and engineering firm without drifting from what made it effective. Today the company has delivered more than 350 projects with a combined value exceeding nine figures, supported by a team of over 300 professionals — and the portfolio includes some of the largest, most technically complex construction projects completed in Lebanon.
