Baghdad Teaching Hospital

In this project, Magma worked with the Iraqi Ministry of Health and prepared the complete electro-mechanical and Building Management System design, including design development and execution drawings, for a 400-bed teaching hospital with a floor surface of approximately 14,000 sqm and a total built-up area of 60,000 sqm. The project was divided into several functional components, including the main hospital building, staff accommodation, morgue, and a dedicated technical plant area housing all major infrastructure systems, including boilers, generators, and fuel storage tanks. All designs and drawings were developed to ensure full coordination between mechanical, electrical, and control systems, supporting the operational requirements of a large-scale hospital.
