Following the devastating Eaton Fire that swept through Pasadena, Los Angeles County in January 2025, MAGMA was entrusted with a community residential rebuild program comprising 9 single-family homes that were completely destroyed by the fire. All 9 residences are being executed simultaneously from conception through handover under a single coordinated program, with MAGMA managing the full scope including all legal paperwork and permitting from the Los Angeles County. Each home carries a built-up area of approximately 225 square meters, with select units incorporating additional ADU structures on the same plot. Despite sharing a similar footprint, every residence is designed and built to its own unique architectural and interior design tailored entirely to each owner's individual preferences, making each home a distinct delivery within the broader program. The full scope covers architectural and MEP design, complete ground-up construction, MEP systems, interior finishing, landscaping and hardscaping through to full handover. The program is currently ongoing with multiple homes in advanced stages of completion.
