Magma Engineering & Contracting has been continuously engaged with Saint George Hospital for over a decade, delivering comprehensive MEP works across multiple departments and critical care facilities. The scope covered the intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit, emergency unit, blood bank, anapath, dialysis, medical store, breast care unit, steam mechanical room, kitchen steam system, hospital pharmacy, spirometry room, chillers, VIP lounge, administration offices as well as the full refurbishment of floors number 3, 4, 5, and 6. The executed works also included specialized hospital systems such as nurse call systems, four-pipe chilled water HVAC systems, firefighting and fire alarm systems, and fully controlled environments for operating rooms incorporating HEPA filtration and pressure zoning. All systems were fully integrated through a centralized BMS. The design, installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems were carried out in strict accordance with ASHRAE guidelines & JCI healthcare standards, ensuring reliability, safety, infection control, and continuous operation within active hospital environments.
